It has been almost a month since we got here.. time really flies by. its amazing to see how Gods hand provided all our needs and casted all fears away...
Now we are finally settled in our own apartment, our first apartment that we know "In Gods willing" that well be staying in for 13 months!!! the longest period that we have been staying in one place since we got married. ahhhhhhhhhhhh feels good!
last Thursday we met a lawyer and filled the marriage application in order to hand it to the Israeli authority on Sunday i will be granted a permission to stay in Israel.. Please pray for us!!! i believe prayer are mountain movers and makes impossible things possible and with your prayers i am awaiting a miracle!!!
2 weeks ago, it was a Saturday evening nashat called me since i was spending the night over at my parents and shared with me a shocking news.. Rami, a member of our Bible society team in Gaza, has been kidnapped.. i could believe what i hared everyone was shocked and at the same terrified.. what will happen now? what will they ask the bible society to do? what do they need in exchange all those questions went through our mind....we prayed and went to bed hoping that well here good news anytime soon..
Sunday morning nashat called me disturbed.. i asked him several times whats wrong? what happened? after a long silence he finally said "They killed Rami" WHATTTTTTTTTTTT? unbelievable.. this is the one thing that i didn't expect them to do.. why? when? how? where? No way Unbelievable!! this cant have happened??!!!! how did GOd allow this?
days went by anger and hatred filled our hearts as well as a lot of Christians in the aria and around the world as the details of his death was revealed... rami was tortured and killed they wanted to make him a Muslim and since he refused they killed him...
I as well as many others hated the Muslims at that point... and i thought in my mind that they were worse than animals.. an animal kill to eat.. but they killed him for what he believed in.. how can we love and serve them now?
thats when a friend mentioned this sentence to me... "sateen manged to kill rami, but if he manged to make us hate Muslims he manged to kill us all" its true our message and our religion is all about love.. When Jesus was on the cross he prayed God forgive them for they dont know what they are doing... well i know they knew what they were doing they were killing Jesus.. but he forgave them and kept on loving them.. its this attitude that we need to take...
Rami is next to Jesus now resting in peace... love contuse to grow in our hearts to our Muslim brothers and sisters we love them from all our hearts and will keep to pray for them...
