Your path led me through the sea, your way through the mighty waters, though your footprints were not seen. Psalm 77:19

Baby Shower

I remember when i first came to USA pregnant i kept asking God, why now? i want to share these exciting movements and feelings with my friends! here i have no one to share them with.. at moments i felt that i was all alone in this, but ow no that was so not true... God granted me a great family here. he surrounded me with friends that were excited to see my belly grow and wanting to feel the movments of Nourel. A family that is always asking about me and stopping over to see how i was doing and above all allways kept me in there prayers..

Today a baby shower was planed for me and it was a great over whelming moment for me the great notes they wrote and the wonderful prayers they lifted up for me and my family...

Girls.. thank you very much. you are angels that made my days beautiful and full of joy. I am sure God will bless you in your study abroad time as much as you blessed us and much much more..

Rebecca, Shannon, Rosa, Faith, Mary, Beth, Janell, Dawn

Thank you

Nourel

Its hard to think about a bright future full of hope when today is dark and hard to live in. just hearing the news about the West Bank and Gaza Strip makes me feel very worried about the future. How will my coming daughter live in all of this, how can we serve and be a witness to those people who are living in the darkness? Questions that I cannot answer but I only can trust that God is in control, He is in charge of our lives. Can I boldly say I will not worry? I don't think I can stop thinking about the future and how its going to be, I think that would be the end of me when this moment comes. I only pray that my thoughts would be optimistic, positive, full of faith and trust, surrender to God's will and plan. I pray that God would deliver our country from wars. I pray that my daughter will have better days than mine, I pray that the light of God would shine in the darkness through us and through Nourel, after all this is the meaning of the name we will give her. Light is only significant in the midst of darkness therefore, may we shine in the darkness and be light reflecting Jesus the Light of the world.

Banana

In a poor South African village, a group of tourists were wondering around when they saw some young kids playing around. Those kids looked very hungry so one of the tourists took out a banana she had in her purse and gave it to the child. His eyes brightened as if she gave him a million dollars with excitement and Joy the kid started pealing the banana, surprisingly he through the inside part and ate the outside of the banana in which we usually through away!!! she was so shocked! he wasted the best part of the banana!!!
The lady was so surprised but when she asked around she found out that those kids usually eat from tourists trash and the cover of the banana is what they usually eat!!
It made me think, how many times in our life did God gives us tasty bananas and we get so excited about the cover and through away the best part of it? or we don't even pay attention to it?
God gave you a tasty banana don't settle for the cover!!

"O taste and see that the lord is good" Psalm 34:8
